Winter is here and with it comes cold temperatures. Be careful when operating bikes if your hands begin to go numb as you wont have the same amount of control.

Checking your bike over is a must. In winter your tyre tread and pressures are critical if you dont want to get stuck in muddy areas.

Make sure your battery is in good condition, as in the cold weather their performance is reduced. If you do need a new one then make sure to look at the CCA - Cold Cranking Amps.
CCA is a rating used to define a battery's ability to start an engine in cold temperatures. The rating refers to the number of amps a 12-volt battery can deliver at 0°F for 30 seconds while maintaining a voltage of at least 7.2 volts.

Some attachments to consider for your vehicle:
For a quadbike or farm bike heated grips or mitts will help keep your hands warm, and new tyres will stop you getting stuck.
For a side-by-side you will also be able to mount a windscreen will keep the wind off you and a roof will keep the rain away. Tyres are even more important for side by sides due to their increased weight.

No matter what you drive, 2 wheeler, Quadbike, or Side by side, an LED lightbar is a good consideration for any farmer who has to work early or late in the day when it's still dark. LED Lightbars come in a variety of different shapes, sizes, and prices for every application. The big advantage of LED is that they will easily outperform your current headlights and still have low draw from the battery. They run on 12v and just need positive and negative from the battery so you can install them yourself or our mechanics can do it for you and put in a switch so you can easily control it.
